Oh My God Bruh

I feel like people nowadays are weird and not nice. Online, at least. And it's so disheartening to see. I mean, I shouldn't be the one talking about this topic with this edgy looking ass website, #LOL, but I want to talk about it.

Sometimes I go online and go to, I don't know, Twitter. And 90% of the time they're just ragebait. And 90% of the time, people who came across those posts fell for it too, and it's sad. Now, I know that social media algorithms now are pushing forward posts that are full of shit for engagement, but, damn, is this how we live now? Most people will argue that it's "long Covid" and I don't know if I agree with that, but I do kind of agree with the argument that the long Covid lockdown™ made people this way. People (including me) did not have much things to do at that time so they resorted to social media... And consumed whatever the fuck were shoved in front of their faces. And they ate them up.

And they started arguing!!! And made that insignificant thing bigger and worse than it should... But they could've ended it sooner. The mute and block button is right there. Or just scroll away. Close the tab, I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I was and am that person sometimes, but I'm a bit better with it now. But that thing still happened with other people, the last time I checked. It's so fucking sad.

I really don't know where to go with this, honestly. I know people are different, but somehow I always see the same two types of people on the internet right now. The people who starts an argument because they know that someone'll get mad at them, and people who get mad at them. And it's usually so stupid, it seems like they only see problems as black or white and that there's no gray in it. God forbid something have nuance. Most of the time, it's something that nobody fucking cares to even take a look at in real life. I don't know why these people are so determined to get a win from a stupid fucking argument nobody actually cares about. For what?

LOL, I sound like I got ragebaited right now... But am I wrong for that? Some of these people are so chronically online, and I thought I was chronically online. Just block and mute and move on, JFC. Curate your own internet. Those people aren't worth your precious little time.
